TL;DR

  • The most expensive keyword in the October 2026 sample was "รับทำเว็บไซต์" (website design service), at about 84.2 baht per click with 1,100 monthly searches.
  • Insurance and B2B business services tied for the highest industry median CPC at 20.2 baht, followed by loans and credit cards at 15.2 baht.
  • Broad shopping searches were cheapest: "รถมือสอง" (used cars, 53,000 monthly searches) and "โทรศัพท์มือถือ" (mobile phones) were both about 0.3 baht per click.
  • Adding "ราคา" (price) did not reliably raise CPC: "จัดฟัน ราคา" (braces price) was about 5.1 baht, below the 6.7 baht dental median.

In October 2026, the median estimated cost per click for 67 Thai-language commercial Google search keywords was about 6.7 baht. The industry medians ran from about 1.3 baht for retail products to about 20 baht for insurance and B2B business services. Relevant Audience compiled these figures from Ahrefs Keywords Explorer estimates for Thailand and converted them from US dollars at the European Central Bank reference rate of 33.695 baht per dollar on 5 October 2026. They are planning estimates for single keywords, not what any one account pays, and the method and its limits are set out below so you can check or repeat the work.

Median estimated Google Ads CPC by industry in Thailand, October 2026

The table lists the median estimated CPC for each industry group, the lowest and highest keyword in that group, and the number of keywords with a CPC estimate. All keywords are Thai-language searches with commercial intent, for example "ประกันรถยนต์" (car insurance) or "จัดฟัน ราคา" (braces price).

Retail and e-commerce products (5)1.30.3 to 3.4

One keyword in the legal group, "ทนายหย่า" (divorce lawyer), had no CPC estimate, which is why that group shows three keywords instead of four.

The most expensive keywords in the sample

Five keywords in the sample had an estimated CPC above 25 baht. Each one sits in a category where a single customer is worth a lot to the advertiser, which is the usual reason a click price climbs.

  • "รับทำเว็บไซต์" (website design service): about 84.2 baht, 1,100 searches a month.
  • "ประกันรถยนต์" (car insurance): about 53.9 baht, 27,000 searches a month.
  • "ประกันเดินทาง" (travel insurance): about 47.2 baht, 5,200 searches a month.
  • "กำจัดปลวก" (termite control): about 30.3 baht, 2,800 searches a month.
  • "รับทำบัญชี" (bookkeeping service): about 27.0 baht, 1,400 searches a month.

The cheapest clicks were broad product and shopping searches such as "รถมือสอง" (used cars) and "โทรศัพท์มือถือ" (mobile phones), both estimated at about 0.3 baht. Searches like these attract many casual browsers, so per-click prices tend to be low, but fewer of those clicks turn into a sale.

Retailers with a product catalogue should also look at Google Shopping campaigns, which show product listings with images and prices. Shopping ads are not covered by these keyword estimates.

How the figures were collected

Anyone with access to Ahrefs can repeat these steps and check the result.

  1. We listed 68 Thai-language keywords that a business in each of 13 industries would plausibly bid on. Most are service or product names, some with "ราคา" (price) added, because those are searches with buying intent.
  2. We pulled each keyword's monthly search volume and CPC estimate from Ahrefs Keywords Explorer with the country set to Thailand, on 6 October 2026. Ahrefs reports CPC in US dollars.
  3. We converted each CPC to baht at the European Central Bank reference rate for 5 October 2026, 33.695 baht per US dollar, and rounded to one decimal place.
  4. For each industry we took the median of the US-dollar estimates and converted it to baht. We used the median rather than the average so one very expensive keyword does not drag the whole group up.

The full keyword list, with search volume and CPC for every keyword, is in the next section.

What these numbers can and cannot tell you

A keyword CPC estimate is useful for comparing industries and for a first budget sketch. It is not a quote, for four reasons.

First, it is a third-party estimate. Ahrefs describes its CPC figure as the average price advertisers pay for a click on the keyword in paid search results; it is not a figure published by Google. Every estimate of 10 US cents or more in this sample fell on a 5-cent step, so small differences between keywords should not be read too closely. Google Keyword Planner's top-of-page bid ranges for the same keywords can differ.

Second, your own price depends on your account. Quality Score, ad relevance, match types, targeting, time of day and how many competitors bid that week all move the actual cost per click. Two advertisers bidding on the same keyword can pay very different amounts.

Third, the sample is small. Three to eight keywords per industry is enough to show broad differences between industries, but not enough to price a campaign. A real keyword list for one business usually runs to dozens or hundreds of terms.

Fourth, these are search-network keyword estimates. They say nothing about Display, YouTube, Demand Gen or Performance Max costs, which are priced differently.

For a method to estimate your own range, see our guide to how Google Ads pricing works in Thailand.

What this means for Thai advertisers

The spread between industries is wide. A retailer and an insurer can both run search campaigns in Thailand and see click prices that differ by more than ten times. In practice, a budget borrowed from another industry, or from a market average, will be wrong for most businesses.

The ranking also follows customer value. Insurance, finance and B2B services sit at the top because one new customer can be worth thousands of baht to the advertiser. Retail and travel sit at the bottom because individual orders are smaller and the searches are broader. If your business sells something with a high lifetime value, expect to pay more per click and judge the campaign on cost per customer rather than cost per click.

Keywords that include "ราคา" (price) were not consistently more expensive than the plain service name in this sample. For example, "จัดฟัน ราคา" (braces price) was estimated at about 5.1 baht, below the dental median. Price searches can still convert well, so it is worth testing them rather than assuming they cost more.

If you want a click-price range for your own keywords before you spend, the Relevant Audience Google Ads team can run the same analysis on your full keyword list and set a starting budget from it.

FAQ

What is the average Google Ads cost per click in Thailand?

There is no official average, but across 67 Thai-language commercial keywords in October 2026 the median estimated CPC was about 6.7 baht. Industry medians in the same sample ranged from about 1.3 baht for retail products to about 20 baht for insurance and B2B services.

Which industries have the most expensive Google Ads clicks in Thailand?

In this sample, insurance and B2B business services had the highest median CPC, at about 20 baht each, followed by loans and credit cards at about 15 baht. The single most expensive keyword was "รับทำเว็บไซต์" (website design service), at about 84 baht.

Does Google publish CPC figures for Thailand?

No, Google does not publish average CPC by industry for Thailand. Advertisers can see top-of-page bid ranges for their own keywords in Google Keyword Planner, and third-party tools such as Ahrefs publish their own estimates, which is what this page uses.

Will I pay these prices if I advertise on these keywords?

Not necessarily, because your actual cost per click depends on your Quality Score, competition, targeting and bidding. Use these figures to compare industries and sketch a first budget, then rely on your own account data after a few weeks of live traffic.

How often is this data updated?

We plan to refresh it regularly and keep it on this same page. The collection date at the top tells you how current the figures are.
