Five minutes’ walk from one of Southeast Asia’s largest malls
Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit is a four-star Accor hotel in northern Bangkok, a five-minute walk from one of Southeast Asia’s largest shopping malls. It serves a diverse mix of business travellers, families, MICE and events, and leisure guests.
In a hospitality market where visibility online translates directly into bookings, the hotel partnered with Relevant Audience to grow its organic presence and reclaim demand that would otherwise flow through third-party channels.
Competing with the OTAs
Hotels compete for high-intent search terms against online travel agencies and aggregators that dominate the results, and every booking won through organic search is a booking that avoids OTA commission. The challenge was to grow qualified visibility quickly, within a short reporting window, and to do it on the terms that precede a direct booking. The objectives were to:
- Move the hotel’s priority keywords onto the first page of Google
- Grow qualified organic traffic from travellers in the planning-and-booking phase
- Build direct-booking visibility that reduces dependence on third-party channels
Capture booking-intent demand efficiently
Relevant Audience focused on capturing booking-intent demand efficiently in a compressed timeframe. The work concentrated on four areas:
Keyword prioritisation
Targeted the location, facility, and booking-intent terms travellers use when planning a stay.
On-page optimisation
Refined page structure, titles, and content so priority pages signalled relevance for the hotel’s key search terms.
Authoritative content
Strengthened content around the hotel’s location advantages, facilities, and guest segments.
Technical foundation & measurement
Maintained site health and tracked ranking and click performance in Google Search Console throughout.
What the campaign delivered
In just three months, Novotel Future Park Rangsit grew organic clicks +15% (from 2,841 to 3,266), with 12 focus keywords reaching the first page and overall impressions rising. A double-digit traffic gain in a single quarter is a fast, clear signal of momentum in a competitive hospitality market.
Organic search as direct revenue
For a hotel, organic search visibility is direct revenue. Ranking on the first page for booking-intent terms places the property in front of travellers at the consideration and decision stages of their trip planning — and every direct booking captured is margin reclaimed from OTA commission. The early momentum, achieved in a single quarter, gives the hotel a foundation to broaden its keyword coverage across guest segments — business, family, MICE — and build a durable direct-booking channel.
Visible
In front of travellers as they plan a stay.
Booked direct
Every direct booking captured is margin reclaimed from OTA commission.
