Client Overview

One store, more than a dozen European markets

MaxLiner is a premium pickup-truck accessories brand — bed liners, tonneau and roll covers, canopies, and a wide range of protective and utility accessories for popular pickups such as the Ford Ranger, Volkswagen Amarok, Isuzu D-Max, and Toyota Hilux. Its European e-commerce store (shop-eu.maxliner.com) sells across more than a dozen European markets in multiple languages.

MaxLiner partnered with Relevant Audience to build and sustain organic visibility across its core European markets — with Germany as the anchor, alongside Belgium, Poland, France, and others.

The Challenge & Objectives

Many markets, many languages, at once

Cross-border e-commerce SEO is uniquely demanding: one store has to rank for the right product terms in several countries and languages at once — German, French, Polish, English — each with its own competitors, search behaviour, and buying patterns. Winning first-page positions across these markets and growing qualified traffic consistently is a multi-front challenge. The objectives were to:

  • Secure and hold first-page Google positions for MaxLiner’s focus product keywords across key European markets
  • Grow qualified organic traffic and visibility across languages and countries (Germany, Belgium, Poland, France and more)
  • Build a durable, defensible organic foundation for a multi-market pickup-accessories store
Our Strategy & Approach

Grow visibility market by market, in each language

Relevant Audience built the campaign to grow visibility market by market, in each language, on the product terms that convert. The work concentrated on four areas:

01

Keyword prioritisation (per market)

Identified the product and category terms with genuine purchase intent in each country and language, and focused on a priority set that matters commercially across Germany, Belgium, Poland, and France.

02

On-page optimisation

Sharpened page structure, titles, and localized content so each priority page could compete in its own market’s search results.

03

Authoritative content

Built product and category content tuned to how pickup owners search in each language, reinforcing relevance and authority.

04

Technical foundation & measurement

Kept a large multi-country store healthy and crawlable, and tracked ranking, clicks, and impressions by market in Google Search Console throughout.

Results & Performance

What the campaign delivered

Measured year over year — the most recent quarter against the same quarter twelve months earlier, a like-for-like seasonal comparison — MaxLiner’s European store delivered strong, compounding growth:

  • Organic clicks up +148% (≈3,300 → ≈8,300 per quarter)
  • Impressions up +215% (≈113,000 → ≈356,000 per quarter)
  • 60% of focus keywords (12 of 20) on the first page of Google

Germany leads this growth as the store’s largest market, with Belgium, Poland, and France among the contributing European markets. The result is not a one-off spike but a sustained climb across a full year.

Business Impact & What's Next

The engine of product discovery

For a cross-border e-commerce brand, consistent page-one rankings across markets are the engine of product discovery and sales in each country. Rising first-page visibility on the focus product terms places MaxLiner in front of pickup owners at the consideration and decision stages — in their own language, in their own market — turning search demand into store sessions and orders. With rankings and traffic both climbing across a year, the next phase deepens market coverage (more focus terms per country) and sharpens on-page conversion, compounding a durable multi-market growth channel.
