Client Overview

A world-class product range that had to be found locally

SolarEdge is a global leader in smart energy technology — solar inverters, power optimisers, and PV system solutions used across residential, commercial, and industrial installations. As solar adoption accelerates across Thailand, SolarEdge’s Thai-market website (solaredge.com/th) needed to do more than display a world-class product range: it had to be found by the installers, developers, and energy buyers who are actively researching solar solutions.

SolarEdge partnered with Relevant Audience to convert strong global brand equity into local search visibility in a fast-growing market.

The Challenge & Objectives

Rising demand, rising competition

Thailand’s solar market is expanding quickly, and with it the competition for the search terms that signal genuine buying intent — product categories, system types, and solution queries typed by people planning an installation. A global brand does not automatically win local search; relevance has to be built page by page, for a Thai audience, against local and regional players. The objectives were to:

  • Establish SolarEdge on the first page of Google for its priority solar and PV-system keywords in Thailand
  • Grow qualified organic traffic from buyers in the research-and-selection phase
  • Build durable visibility in a category where demand is rising month over month
Our Strategy & Approach

Capture rising demand with authority, not raw volume

Relevant Audience built the campaign to capture rising demand with authority rather than chase raw volume. The work concentrated on four areas:

01

Keyword prioritisation

Identified the solar and PV-system terms with real commercial intent in the Thai market and focused effort on a tight set of priority keywords.

02

On-page optimisation

Sharpened page structure, titles, and content so each priority page signalled its relevance and authority clearly to search engines.

03

Authoritative content

Developed content that answers the questions installers and buyers actually search, positioning SolarEdge as the informed choice.

04

Technical foundation & measurement

Kept the site healthy and crawlable, and tracked ranking and click performance in Google Search Console throughout the engagement.

Results & Performance

What the campaign delivered

Over the measurement period, 100% of SolarEdge’s focus keywords (20 of 20) reached the first page of Google. Organic clicks grew +80% (from 4,693 to 8,450) and impressions grew +273% (from 135,064 to 504,153) — a decisive expansion of visibility that tracks the rising demand in the category. SolarEdge is not just present in the market; it now owns the front page of the searches that matter.

Business Impact & What's Next

Search visibility as demand capture

For a technology brand selling through installers and developers, search visibility is top-of-funnel demand capture. Owning page one for priority terms puts SolarEdge in front of buyers at the awareness and consideration stages of their buying journey — the weeks when they are shortlisting systems and brands — continuously, and without per-click media cost. The 100% first-page coverage gives SolarEdge a dominant position to defend, and a platform to extend into adjacent product categories and solution-led queries as the Thai solar market grows.

Awareness

On page one

Page-one presence the moment buyers research solar.

Consideration

Shortlisted

Authoritative pages in front of buyers as they shortlist systems and brands.

Next

Defend & extend

A dominant position to defend, and room to grow into adjacent categories.
