Microsoft Ads Improves Learning Lab and Certification

Many marketers often hear the question, “How do you get a certificate?” In reality, online marketing companies don’t often look at these certificates. However, when applying for jobs at large companies, creating a slight difference by submitting a regular resume along with this certificate can impress HR to some extent.

For these certificates, if they are from Microsoft, they are called MACP, or Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional. Recently, Microsoft Advertising announced a major overhaul of the curriculum for this certification. Let’s take a look at what has been improved or added.

What’s New with Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional?

Microsoft Advertising has acknowledged various complaints from users, whether it’s about the need for more specialized certifications, adjusting the tests to be more appropriate, or even wanting the certificates to be displayed digitally.

Therefore, Microsoft Advertising has decided to completely revamp the test curriculum by adding new test formats, divided into 3 categories, as follows:

Each course will award a Digital Badge after passing the test. In addition, those who pass all three courses will be eligible to receive the highest Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional Digital Badge as a reward.

Microsoft confirms that these Digital Badges can be shared across all social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook. For those entering the workforce or looking for jobs in online marketing, they must try to pass these tests to upgrade their job application profiles.

If you are already an expert, simply wanting a certificate to add to your credentials is probably not difficult. But if you are a novice marketer just starting out in this career, you may need to rack your brains about how to start. To help users pass these tests easily, Microsoft has designed a Preparation Course, a preliminary course for test takers. Each Preparation Course consists of:

  • Explains what the exam is about
  • What topics need to be known
  • 25 basic questions 

Microsoft Advertising Learning Lab – Next Level 

In addition, Microsoft has redesigned the Learning Lab website to be modern and simple, suitable for modern test takers who can find courses and check interesting things.

  • Learning Paths It collects various courses designed by Microsoft Advertising to develop user skills into professional online marketers. It includes Learning Courses, Preparation Courses, and Exam Tests.
  • Events For those interested in online seminars on various topics organized by Microsoft Advertising experts, you can choose according to your interests.
  • Dashboard and Trophy Case You can view different Digital Badges immediately after passing various courses. 

In addition, Microsoft Advertising allows test takers to pause time when they need to rest and continue the test at a convenient time, or even turn off their computer and come back to continue where they left off. However, if novice marketers pass all these tests, don’t forget to create a real campaign to learn for themselves, “How similar or different is the test experience from the real situation?”
