YouTube Set to Test Additional Features in the Analytics Research Tab

Previously, YouTube, the popular video-sharing platform we all know well, launched the YouTube Search Insights feature (learn more about Search Insights in this article), which has received a strong response from users in recent times. It serves as a tool for marketers and creators who want in-depth data to improve the performance of the video content on their own channels. 

As a result, YouTube has now revealed plans to test some standout additional features on the Analytics Research Tab with three new features: Watch Interest, Watch Activity, and Personalized Insights. Following the launch of YouTube Search Insights, YouTube received a very positive response from users in the creator and marketer communities.  Pierce Vollucci, a YouTube Senior Product Manager, revealed that as many as 80% of users among creators and marketers were satisfied with this new tool.

This prompted the development team to want to add more new features to YouTube Search Insight, with details of the new feature tests revealed on the Creator Insider channel on YouTube. These include features such as Watch Interest, Watch Activity, and Personalized Insights, which YouTube claims will help users examine various insights in greater depth and reach the most suitable target audiences more effectively. The details of the three new features are as follows:

These features can be considered merely the beginning of usability improvements.
