Structured Data (Schema Markup)

Structured data is code added to a page, usually in JSON-LD format, that labels its content so search engines understand it explicitly rather than inferring it.

Marking up a product, FAQ, recipe, or article can unlock rich results and makes the content far easier for AI systems to parse and cite. For example, FAQ schema can surface expandable questions directly in search results. It is the connective tissue between traditional SEO and AI search.
