Fundamentals
Long-Tail Keyword
A long-tail keyword is a longer, more specific search phrase with lower volume but clearer intent and usually lower competition.
Although each one is searched less often, together they make up the majority of all searches and tend to convert better. For example, "affordable SEO agency for hotels in Bangkok" is long-tail and signals exactly what the searcher wants. Targeting many long-tail terms is how smaller sites win traffic before they can compete for head terms.
